California has informed the ULC MONASTERY in Tucson, Arizona that your application for ordination has been received and
approved with pride. It will be entered into the International Database of the
Ministry of the Church which numbers in excess of 18.3 million ordained
ministers worldwide.
I, Rev. Zimmerman,
hereby absolve you of your misdeeds to the moment. You may now perform such
absolutions after receiving the oath below and the sacerdotal rights it bestows
upon you... if you accept them. You are not required to believe this. It is just offered. The church as a denomination grants ULC ministers

NOTE: Remember, churches sell only one thing (and they do sell it), and that
is HOPE. Most churches in the U.S. sell the hope of streets of gold, pearly
gates, and a mansion just over the rainbow. We are not opposed to that as a
belief, and we welcome those believers. The ULC wants you to recognize
that as a denomination we are active advocates of the good life in the
here and now.
FORGET tax savings and
such things as that. Neither the Church nor Monastery can advise you on legal or
tax issues. We direct you to the best sources and ask that you consult with a
tax advisor locally. It is very hurtful for those in the ULC that are sincere
and religiously motivated to see new ULC ministers joining the movement just to
take advantage of the many discounts and freebies many ministers get. We will
help establish you in your own wedding ceremony business. The extra income you
will receive from a wedding ceremony business can help finance your faith
ministry of whatever faith or practice you adhere to. We want very much to
out-live the damage caused during the 80's when the ULC was abused by many using
it to avoid taxes. Such actions are not common any longer.

The new credentials are
ready to be mailed out for those individuals that really desire a nicer
credential. The humble website credential is sufficient and legal for all
purposes, however to impress and command the respect from others,
many ministers "feel" they need a more professional image from a nicer
credential. The Monastery offers a complete credential set with many added gifts

The "MINISTRY IN A BOX", is
still available and it is loaded with all kinds of information, Holy Land
incense, even the MINISTER'S MANUAL everyone has been asking about -- the
real kind, just like you always see being used in marriages on TV

package the Church from the beginning of Rev. Hensley's birth up to 1980. I

of, of Rev. Hensley back in the late 1970s that show his sincerity and vigor
fighting for your rights, and I will duplicate some sections and include the

ABOUT
ORDINATIONS:
Only website ordinations that have complete names and addresses are
processed and legalized. Silly
submissions, animals, plants, cars etc are not
recorded into the church's database. The credential is not the legalizing aspect
of the ordination.
A credential and a confirmation message is
provided to all that ask online. When the ordination application information is
received by the church it is read by at least three ministers and then entered
into the church's database. Recording the names and addresses into the church's
International Ministerial Database is the actual legalizing process, NOT THE
CREDENTIAL, confirmation message or any credentials.
False or fraudulent
submissions are not legalized. The confirmation messages sent to those
fraudulent names are automatic through the website programming, however we DO
NOT RECORD THOSE ORDINATIONS into the church's database. FRAUDULENT
credentials and confirmation messages for those submissions have no legal
weight. This statement has been repeated intentionally throughout this message.
The Universal Life Church acts upon FAITH and issues both a credential
and confirmation message immediately to individuals that complete the online
application.
ORDINATION is a personal decision, and the ULC
legalizes it as is required by the 50 states.
Even if you were ordained many years ago, your ordination is
active for life! YES, the church keeps records as are required by law, in case
we must verify your legally ordained status. The date of the ordination is not
really important, but if you were ordained prior to 1980, the church
requests that you go back to the website and re-ordain yourself in a sort
of reconsecration rite! Then you will be in the current database.
Once you are ordained in the ULC, you are
ordained for life... unless you, yourself, write and renounce your
ordination. No one can take it from you. Ordination as a "REVEREND" is necessary
to solemnize marriages, so if you ask for a title alone, that is not
sufficient... YOU MUST BE ORDAINED!
Records of ordination are kept
forever, and all of the "old timers" are still on record - in
paper journals in the basement for reasons of age, changes of address, and
deaths. With 18.3 million ministers, it is impossible to keep track of
everyone, unless they contact the church directly with a change of address or
send the change of address via the website contact opportunity, which is
forwarded weekly to Modesto, if not sooner.
SO WHAT NEXT?
We recognize the value of ego and its necessity
in beginning a ministry, so we have invested the funds and will give you
the opportunity to order a "MINISTRY IN A BOX" so to speak, with
everything you could ever need in addition to the credentials, including a VHS
video professionally produced by the MODESTO MESSIAH, which was made in the
early 1980s. There have been significant changes in administrative policies
that you need to know about NOW. Everyone should order the ULC TEXTBOOK. The VHS and cassette tapes represent what WAS, and a real
down-to-earth history of the ULC from the birthplace of Reverend Hensley in
North Carolina, to the early 1980's office of the church - in the church
sanctuary. Things have
changed -- all for your benefit.
THE ULC IS LEGAL IN ALL STATES.
ULC MINISTERS MAY
SOLEMNIZE MARRIAGES IN EVERY SINGLE STATE. MINISTERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING THEIR RESPECTIVE
STATE'S REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS (IF ANY). If
there are any difficulties in registering your credentials, please notify
us. Check the state law section here to see if you must register in any
certain state in order to do weddings in that state.
LETTER OF GOOD STANDING
Some states do have
registration requirements for ministers prior to officiating marriages in those
states. The Letter of Good Standing is issued by the church. If you live
in a state that requires registration of ordination documents OR you plan to
officiate a marriage in a state that requires ministers to register prior to
officiating marriages ---the church will provide the Letter of Good Standing.
Please do not
ask for a Letter of Good Standing unless it is required by
law.
To request the Letter
of Good Standing you must write to the church directly at ULC, 601 Third Street,
Modesto, CA 95351 and request the Letter of Good Standing for whichever state
requires it. You must provide your online ordination date, name and mailing
address. The service is provided FREE.
Also, after you officiate the marriage ceremony,
you must sign your true legal name on the marriage license and mail it back
to the respective state within a certain period of time. If you are late, or
forget, or lose the marriage license, WOW, will there be trouble for the
minister! As a recognized professional, you are expected to be aware of these
things regardless of whether you did or did not know. We have offered you the
best insurance to cover you for $25 per month and the service is PRE-PAID LEGAL.
I have had it since 1983!
The ULC is its own
DENOMINATION, which includes all denominations and individuals with no
denominational beliefs, or no beliefs at all... we accept you just as you
are.
All ULC information on ministers and addresses are private
and Constitutionally protected by the right of association and the right of
privacy, and our names are NOT available to ANYONE outside of Headquarters staff
members and the Board of Directors of the church. Please do not write to me asking for names and
addresses, because I cannot respond to such
requests. One of the functions of E-mail is to reduce the costs of
administration, staffing, and postage, and E-mail reduces those costs greatly.
TO ORDAIN OTHER PEOPLE: You must have
their permission first of course. Please always use the "BECOME
ORDAINED HERE" page for new ordinations if you want a certificate printed out
immediately. It is not the certificate that legalizes your title of REVEREND,
but the recording of your ordination decision in the church's International
Database of Ministers, currently in excess of 18.3 million. You will not receive
anything from the church directly other than your INTERNET CREDENTIAL, except
perhaps copies of important ULC NEWS, discounts and other special
offers, as long as you remain on the official ULC Monastery
announcement list.

CANADIAN ULC
MINISTERS WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE PAPERWORK IN EACH PROVINCE TO BE
APPROVED PRIOR TO OFFICIATING ANY MARRIAGES IN YOUR COUNTRY. Canadian ministers
are asked to write a letter to the church to request that they be placed on a
special mailing list that the church maintains to keep our ministers in Canada
informed when each approval from the Provinces is received by the church. A list
will also be placed on the main website to announce the Provincial recognitions
received by the church.
IF YOU WERE ORDAINED BY THE PULC AT ANY
TIME, that is not the ULC MODESTO, and any and all ties with that entity
(PULC) were dissolved years ago. You had best become ordained at the
website, and thereby confirm that your ordination is listed in the database of
the MODESTO church.
FROM THE ULC Monastery : Anyone that may wish
to be canonized into Sainthood by the denomination Universal Life may receive
that special status and document by ordaining at least 15 new ministers at the
main ULC website - http://ulc.org Anyone that expands the ministry
of the church by ordaining at least 15 new ministers will be rewarded in the
here and now by canonization into Sainthood - free in appreciation of services
rendered on the church's behalf. Those working to ordain 15 new ministers at
the website need to keep track of their own efforts and then notify me when they
have accomplished the task of 15 for SAINTHOOD. Notify me by E-mail, including
your accomplishments and full name and address.

We believe everyone is already a
member of the church and is just not aware of it as yet.The church
encourages (and I ask) that you ordain your friends and relatives on the web
site. The ordination of new ministers is
the single most important act a new minister can perform to promote the growth and welfare of the church as a body
of believers in the right of freedom of religion and to do that which is right.
The Universal Life Church will ordain anyone
that asks without question of faith, for life, without a fee. The church has
two tenets: the absolute right of freedom of religion and to do that
which is right. Anything else, within the law, is allowed. As an ordained
minister of the church, you too may ordain new ministers. The Universal Life
Church will not stand between you and your God and recognizes that each person
must choose his own path. Each person in the ULC is free to follow any path
as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others.
